Finally Alone

Sitting in a chair in an otherwise empty room
The shadows in the dark seem to change from black to blue
Draw a picture in the light just to see a reminder of you
But the memories fade as I think of what to do

If I'm gonna feel lonely
I just want to be alone
Gone
Done
I can't see what's become
Wrong
Sun
I've never found a home
Long
Gone
I'm finally alone

Sitting on a shore blanketed by myst
Drawing pictures in the sand of all of those I miss
My heart takes me places that never did exist
But my mind soars to make me believe an angel's kiss

If I'm gonna feel lonely
I just want to be alone
Gone
Done
I can't see what's become
Wrong
Sun
I've never found a home
Long
Gone
I'm finally alone

Standing in the dark of the ruins of a life
The bricks fall around me, but I can't run and hide
A nightmare of sorts, a reminder of the time
That I invented what we had, and believed all the hype

If I'm gonna feel lonely
I just want to be alone
Gone
Done
I can't see what's become
Wrong
Sun
I've never found a home
Long
Gone
I'm finally alone

If I'm gonna feel lonely

I just want to be alone

If I'm gonna feel lonely
I just want to be alone

If I'm gonna feel lonely

I just want to be alone

Gone

Done

I can't see what's become

Wrong

Sun

I've never found a home

Long

Gone

I'm finally alone
